SUMMARY:Winter Wildlife Tracking Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Explore the stories written by animals on the landscape. Through the ancient science of wildlife tracking\, we can identify the footprints (tracks) and other sign left by our neighbors\, and come to understand the intimate details of their lives. We will review how to identify common local species\, as well as ways to practice and connect with other trackers to improve your skills. \nClass sites vary to give a range of habitats and species\, and continue through all seasons. \nThis workshop is entirely outdoors. There will be copies of my favorite local guidebook available for use during the workshop. Please dress for moving slowly in cold weather\, and feel free to bring a hot drink and snacks! \nCost: sliding scale\, $26-36 per person. \nQuestions? Contact naturalawarenessguide@gmail.com.
